Wesley Family Medicine Residency has a long tradition in the Midwest, and Wichita in particular, of training well-rounded full-scope family physicians for practice in any setting.  As one of the very first Family Medicine residencies in the country, the Wesley curriculum was used to model those programs that followed.

We are based at a large university-affiliated medical center featuring high-risk OB, level I trauma, a nationally recognized NICU, state of the art outpatient clinic, and much more. 

Wesley Medical Center delivers more babies than any other hospital in a 13 state region and is in the 99th percentile in the nation for deliveries.

With the resources of the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita, Wesley Family Medicine offers the hands-on experience to prepare you for your practice goals. 

We know everyone has different goals in Family Medicine.  Is your dream to run a hospital in Alaska, or practice full-scope international mission medicine?  Do you want to become an inpatient hospitalist, or practice full-scope OB with c-sections, and operative deliveries?
